DATA DELETION INSTRUCTIONS

If you can sign in, you can delete your account yourself:

• sign in at https://mycomedyhq.com/auth;
• open Settings;
• choose “Delete account” and confirm.

This removes your Comedy HQ account and the information stored in it, such as your gigs, material, sets, ideas, contacts, goals and invoices. Any active subscription or trial is cancelled so you are not charged again.

Deleting your account does not delete anything held outside Comedy HQ. Events already in your Google Calendar, backups in your own Google Drive, and posts on your social media accounts stay where they are, and you can remove them yourself in those services.

Deleting your account also removes your saved Facebook and Instagram connections and their stored figures and history. You do not need to disconnect them first. Your external Pages, accounts and posts are not deleted.

If you cannot sign in, or would like us to handle the deletion, email us at info@olliereyhart.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Please send it from the email address linked to your Comedy HQ account and tell us what you would like deleted.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Requests are reviewed and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including UK GDPR.

If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account, Comedy HQ stores an encrypted access key and summary figures (such as follower counts and post dates) so it can show them on your Socials page. Comedy HQ never posts on your behalf. You can remove this data in any of these ways:

Disconnect inside Comedy HQ

• Facebook: open the Socials page and choose “Disconnect Facebook” on the Facebook card;
• Instagram: open Settings and choose “Disconnect Instagram”.

Disconnecting removes the stored access key and the cached figures for that service. Your other connections are not affected.

Remove Comedy HQ in Facebook or Instagram

• Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, then remove Comedy HQ;
• Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, then remove Comedy HQ.

This stops Comedy HQ accessing your account. To also have any data we already hold removed, disconnect inside Comedy HQ as above or email us.

Ask us by email

Email info@olliereyhart.com with the subject “Facebook/Instagram data deletion request”, from the email address linked to your Comedy HQ account, and we will remove the connected-account data we hold for you.

Some information may be kept after deletion where the law requires it, for example records needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention or resolving disputes. Where this applies, we keep only what is necessary and for no longer than required, as described in our Privacy Policy.
