Understanding calendar sync

What gets copied to Google Calendar, and when.

Once Google Calendar is connected, Comedy HQ copies your gigs into the calendar chosen under Add gigs to. Each event uses the show name, or the venue if there isn't one.

  • Auto-add gigs to Google Calendar (Settings → Integrations) adds gigs when you save them. Turn it off to add them yourself.
  • Sync all upcoming gigs copies upcoming gigs that aren't in your calendar yet.
  • Gigs you imported aren't added automatically. Open one and choose Add to Google Calendar.
  • Your gig is always saved in Comedy HQ first, even if the calendar copy can't be made.
  • Sync goes one way: editing the event in Google Calendar doesn't change the gig in Comedy HQ.

A gig isn't showing in Google Calendar

  1. In Settings → Integrations, check the Google Calendar card says Connected ✓. If it says Connected — action required, choose Give permission.
  2. Check which calendar is chosen under Add gigs to.
  3. Choose Sync all upcoming gigs.

If permission is missing when you save a gig, Comedy HQ tells you it was saved but not added to Google Calendar, so nothing is lost.
