Writing and organising jokes
Keep your material in one searchable library with topics, versions and cuts.
Add a joke
- Open Material from the menu and choose Add new joke.
- Enter the Joke title and write the joke.
- Fill in any of Type, Status (New, Developing, Proven or Retired), Length, Topics, Rating /10 and Notes.
Under Lives in these sets you can see which sets already use the joke.
Versions and cuts
- Choose New version above the writing area to start a fresh draft and keep the old one.
- Open Versions to see every version, rename one (for example “TV clean”) or go back to it.
- Select some text and choose Move to cuts to keep it under Cuts & Scraps instead of losing it. Choose Restore to put it back.
Finding material
Use the Search jokes… box on the Material page, or filter by status. Switch between Table view and Card view to suit you.
Tidying up
Tick several jokes to delete them together. You'll always be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.
